Privacy policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This policy explains what information Kinetic Development ("we", "us") collects when you use kineticdevteam.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and only collect what we need to run the site, answer you and deliver your work.
Information you give us
- Contact and quote forms. Your name, email address, Discord username (if you provide it), and anything you write about your project, budget or timeline.
- Orders and checkout. Your name, email address, Discord username (if asked), what you bought, the amount, and any notes you add.
- Emails and messages. Anything you send us by email, Discord or another channel.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data. When you submit a form or place an order, our server stores your IP address and browser type (user agent). We use this to block spam and fraud and to troubleshoot problems.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, pages requested, date and time) for security and reliability.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe and/or PayPal. You enter your card or PayPal details on their secure pages, not ours. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only what we need to confirm your payment, such as a transaction or subscription ID, the amount and the payment status. Stripe's and PayPal's own privacy policies apply to the information you give them.
FiveM scripts sold through our Tebex store are processed by Tebex, and Tebex's privacy policy applies to those purchases. Script licensing and asset escrow are handled through Cfx.re (FiveM).
Cookies
- Essential cookie (
kd.sid). This cookie is set only when it's needed, for example when you add something to your cart, submit a form or sign in. It keeps your cart and session working. It expires after 7 days of inactivity. It isn't used for advertising or tracking. - Analytics. If we turn on Google Analytics, Google may set its own cookies to measure how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. You can block these in your browser settings or with a browser extension.
Third-party services
To run the site, we use these services. Each one may process some of your information under its own privacy policy:
- Hostinger: website hosting, database and email delivery.
- Stripe and PayPal: payment processing.
- Tebex: FiveM script store.
- Google: web fonts (Google Fonts), search indexing and, if enabled, Google Analytics. When a page loads, your browser requests fonts from Google's servers, which shares your IP address with Google.
- Discord: if you choose to talk to us there.
How we use your information
- To reply to your messages and prepare quotes.
- To process orders, take payments, manage subscriptions and send receipts.
- To deliver, support and maintain the work you ordered.
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and to keep the site secure.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions are kept until we no longer need them to answer you or carry out your project, and are then deleted.
- Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 7 years.
- Session data expires automatically after 7 days of inactivity.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. We'll delete it unless we're legally required to keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- See the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop sending you non-essential emails. We send only replies, receipts and project updates, never marketing lists.
Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights under local law. These can include objecting to certain processing, data portability, and complaining to a data protection authority. We'll honor these requests as the law requires. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first.
Security
We use HTTPS across the whole site, password hashing for admin accounts, spam protection on forms, and trusted payment providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it. You must be 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to make a purchase.
International visitors
We're based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US or other countries. By using the site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and stored in those countries.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
